1.   CALL TO ORDER

 

2.   EXECUTIVE SESSION - The City Council has determined a necessity to
go into a closed to the public session under the provisions of Section
551, Texas Government Code, and the following topics may be discussed: 

 

*	under the authority of Section 551.071, consultation with
attorney - seek advice of legal counsel regarding Bryan Municipal Golf
Course contract, seek legal advice regarding the possible acquisition of
land in central Bryan for economic development purposes, seek advice of
legal counsel regarding terms and conditions of ground lease of
approximately 0.96 acres at Coulter Airfield, seek legal advice
regarding the acceptance by the Board of Directors of the Bryan
Reinvestment Zone Number Eight of a Special Warranty Deed dated June 16,
2000, recorded in Volume 3847, Page 162, of the Official Records of
Brazos County, Texas, from Bryan Development, Ltd., conveying 95.045
acres in east Bryan, and seek legal advice regarding the development
agreement between the City of Bryan, Burton Creek Development and the
U.S. Postal Service; 
*	under the authority of Section 551.074, personnel matters -
discussion regarding selection of City Attorney;
*	under the authority of Section 551.086, public utility
competitive matters - discussion regarding BTU competitive matters; and
*	under the authority of Section 551.087, economic development
negotiations - discussion regarding possible economic incentives for
retail development in east Bryan, discussion regarding financial or
other incentives for Infinity Sports Entertainment, L.L.C., to continue
and expand operations at Travis Major Baseball Field, and discuss
possible incentives for the location of taxable aircraft and
construction of a hangar on approximately 0.96 acres at Coulter Airfield
Airport.

 

3.    OPEN SESSION FOR ACTION FOLLOWING EXECUTIVE SESSION, IF NECESSARY

 

4.    ADJOURN

4:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M., AT DOWNTOWN 202, LOCATED AT 202 SOUTH BRYAN
STREET, BRYAN, TEXAS.
