Construction Notice on FM 1179 (Villa Maria) at Finfeather Rd. and
Wellborn Rd. 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) contractor, Allco LTD.,
will be performing work at the intersection of Finfeather Road and
Navidad beginning Tuesday February 13th and ending on Monday February
19th.  This work will involve closing Navidad at Finfeather Road.
During this closure, traffic should utilize Yegua and Forestwood to
bypass the work area.  

Once the work is finished, Finfeather Road will be opened and will
follow its current traffic configuration.

This work is part of the $11.3 million construction project to construct
a grade separation at the intersection of the railroad tracks and Villa
Maria.  Please obey construction warning signs in the work limits and be
alert to workers near the roadway.  TxDOT appreciates your patience
through this important project.
