AGENDA

  

1.  CALL TO ORDER (Room 305)

 

2.   EXECUTIVE SESSION - The BCD Board of Directors has determined the
necessity to go into executive session under the authority of Texas
Government Code, and the following topics may be discussed:

 

*	under the authority of Section 551.072, real estate - discussion
regarding acquisition of real property in west Bryan for economic
development purposes; 
*	under the authority of Section 551.071, consultation with
attorney - seek advice of legal counsel regarding a conveyance of real
property on the west side of Bryan to the Texas A&M University System
and related incentives for development of a health science center; and
*	under the authority of Section 551.078, deliberation regarding
economic development negotiations - discussion regarding terms and
conditions of a conveyance of real property on the west side of Bryan to
the Texas A&M University System and related incentives for development
of a health science center.

 

3.   OPEN SESSION FOR ACTION FOLLOWING EXECUTIVE SESSION, IF NEEDED
(Council Chambers)

 

4.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES <outbind://2404/DO_NOT_OPEN/BCD_Minutes.doc>  -
Meetings of February 27, 2007, March 13, 2007, March 27, 2007, April 10,
2007, April 24, 2007, and April 30, 2007.

 

5.   CONSIDERATION - AGREEMENT TO CONVEY LAND

      Consider approving the terms of and authorizing the President of
Bryan Commerce and Development, Inc., to execute an agreement with the
Texas A&M University System providing for the conveyance of real
property on the west side of Bryan to the Texas A&M University System
and related incentives for the development of a health science center.
Source of Funds:  Funding for land acquisition costs was previously
approved by Bryan Commerce and Development, Inc., and City Council.

 

6.   CONSIDERATION - EXECUTE A DEED TO CONVEY TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY

      Consider approving the terms of and authorizing the President of
Bryan Commerce and Development, Inc., to execute a deed conveying title
to real property on the west side of Bryan to the Texas A&M University
System for the development of a health science center.  Source of Funds:
Funding for land acquisition costs was previously approved by Bryan
Commerce and Development, Inc., and City Council.
