Union Pacific rail construction to resume
 
Beginning Thursday, Union Pacific Railroad
<http://www.up.com/index.shtml>  will resume track-replacement work,
which will interrupt traffic flow at four Bryan railroad crossings. 
 
The crossings that will be affected for about two weeks are: Carson,
Pease, Dodge and Groesbeck streets.
 
During construction, UPRR advises that trains could be traveling at
reduced speeds and that railroad crossings may be rough. The work is
part of an overall track-replacement project spanning from Bryan to
Millican in southern Brazos County.
