Bryan Police catch car burglar

On March 26, 2009, at 5:30am, a resident of the City of Bryan called the
Bryan Police Department in reference to a suspicious vehicle driving
through their neighborhood. The caller reported seeing a dark green
Nissan Altima driving slowly through the area of Park Hurst and Tiffany
Park Circle. Officers were in the area looking for the vehicle when
another citizen called at around 5:49am, about a dark green Nissan in
the area of Pecan Ridge Dr. and Mahan St. The caller stated that
suspicious people were looking into vehicles and had one vehicle door
open. Officers were in the area and arrived to see two subjects pulling
on door handles of vehicles in driveways. Officers contacted the
individuals and the male subject fled on foot and a white female was
detained. Property and evidence from other burglaries were found with
the female and in their dark green Nissan along with narcotics.
